SAN ANTONIO -- A man was hit by a car on Loop 410 on the Northeast Side Tuesday.

News 4 San Antonio was told the man was attempting to cross the mainlanes of Loop 410 near Nacogdoches when he was hit.

He was taken by EMS to a hospital. Information about his condition was not released.

C'mon folks...there are NO crosswalks across 410. If you don't care about your own life, please think about the innocent motorist who has to live with hitting you.

Come on people....I know many lack common sense, but given the insane number of stories about this retarded decision to cross a main highway, you'd think people would learn the lesson by now...sorry but I do not feel sorry for this person. Stupidity in its finest. I am trying to understand how people just do not get it, and it's unfathomable to me.
