SAN ANTONIO -- Police are searching for a suspect after a man was found shot in a West Side neighborhood Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the 8800 block of Old Sky Harbor Drive, near Port of Call Drive, around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found a man in his late 20's in a field suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Family members told News 4 WOAI the victim was also stabbed multiple times in the neck, but police at the scene could not confirm that information.
The victim was taken by AirLife to University Hospital. Police said his condition was not known.
According to San Antonio Police Chief Bill McManus, the altercation started at another location. Chief McManus said the victim was shot by another man in this late 20's and that the victim and the suspect know each other.
