I take my kids to parks all the time, but after seeing used condoms, marijuana pipes, a peeping tom, tons of inappropriate graffiti, and other acts of vandalism and bullying, I really appreciate the theme parks, museums and zoos a lot more because of basic security. (I reported to the police several of those things I listed including the drug paraphenalia). Don't forget to look at the Registered Sex Offender Database by Zip Code Map View, it is quite shocking that San Antonio is covered in dots with them.
