SAN ANTONIO -- A Far West Side neighborhood is on alert after a man exposed himself to two young girls there.

Bexar County Sheriff's deputies say the man followed the 12-year-old girls into the backyard of a home off Shaenfield Road, near Walnut Bank. The girls said they had just walked home from school on Friday, when a man in a green car pulled up as they went to open the front door. The girls told investigators they got nervous and went around to the backyard, but the man then followed them there and exposed himself. At that point, a dog in the yard got between the man and the girls, and they were able to run away.

The man was driving a green 4-door car with a rusted door. If you have information, please call the Bexar County Sheriff's Office Tip Line: 210-335-TIPS (8477) or the Crime Stoppers Tip Line: 210-224-STOP (7867), 800-252-8477.
