SAN ANTONIO -- A 50-year-old man was killed when he was hit by an SUV while crossing the street.
The accident happened around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday on Southeast Military Drive near South Flores. Police say the man was jaywalking when he was hit by the SUV. He died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV drove off, but police were able to track him down a short time later. He is being charged for failing to stop and render aid.
