Yagurl: Ive known CJ around 19yrs and you did describe him to a T. You're right he did not deserve to be killed. He is a good, smart and soft hearted man Everybody is different and he did not lie about who he was. He seen my struggle and was always concerned about my well being and wherabouts. He did have a heart and he cared. He loved his family to death including his Mama... He loved her so much and i'm hurting becuase i know his mama, daughter and loved ones are hurting. Im sorry that your daughter did not get to see that part of him. I just want you to know he loved her so much and always always talked about her and carried pictures(of her in a white skirt by his car she was 13th or so) of her. I know he loved her soooo much and she was always the topic of the subject. I would get on him and tell him he needed to make a trip to the H to see her and be involved. He just did not want to deal with any drama not saying that you would of caused it he just didnt want to take that risk and was very private. He wanted to better himself and get his business going and he would pop up in her and his son's lives. He was a caring person and did not do drama at all. He kept to himself and let the money get the best of him. Im releif to know that he will not have to go back to jail, deal with the struggle of being a man and having to provide for others not getting hired because he made mistake but is trying, deal with the crazy things in life and what it brings. Its hard to live life these days. TO CJ'S FAMILY: I wanted you to know that when i heard about CJ's passing i was deeply sadden he always had a great smile on his face when i seen him. People who knew him know that he loved his MOM soo much. As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring CJ's memory. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.May God's Grace strengthen you and the memory of him will always be in our hearts.

We all deserve to be treated as human beings with respect, love, and kindness. I knew this man and we have a daughter together. He lived like he died violently, he was mean and cruel, and in all the time his daughter has been alive and well, he has not bothered to see her or love her. With that being said he did not deserve to die in the manner of which he did.I hope that his family can find comfort in the Lord and for his mother peace in her midnight hour, I hope that when I get to heaven he will be there and be the man I had once hoped he would be.He was who he was and chose the life he lead but we all make mistakes and no one has the right to take one of God's creatures off this earth.I hope and pray that he is resting in peace in the arms of Christ.

Does anyone else get that mental red flag when you hear of a hotel renting out by the hour? "I need to rent a room for 3 hours, please. I've a big test in the morning and there's no other quiet place in the city to study". I don't think that's how it goes. I can see by the likes of "Tongs Thai", "Bun and Barrel", and "Earl Abels" that Austin Highway is trying to revitalize itself. Not to mention that nice, new business center right across from the hotel in question. Guess it's gonna take more complaints and more patience before they finally close these places. Let's hope no innocent, law-abiding citizens have to get hurt or killed before action is taken.

The 12 years I worked on Austin Hwy, those hotels like the Sands, Silver Dollar, etc just bred vermin!! Hookers & welfare cases with drug dealers thrown in! I hope they bulldoze them all & give the residents bus tickets to Austin!!!

See what happens when you try to pay a hooker with food stamps?
