SAN ANTONIO -- New details are now out about a deadly drunk driving wreck in our area from earlier this year.
Tuesday morning News 4 WOAI obtained the arrest warrant for Rafael Miranda. You may remember that he's the man Bexar County deputies say caused that wreck back in January, and is now charged with intoxication manslaughter.
Investigators say the 47-year-old Miranda ignored a yield sign on Hwy. 181 back on January 3rd of this year, and plowed his SUV into an oncoming car. 61-year-old Donna Hopkins was a passenger in that car, she was killed. Miranda's 11-year-old son was also injured in the crash.
Investigators were waiting for the toxicology report, which recently came out and indicated that Miranda was drunk at the time of the wreck.
