SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Police are warning women to be on alert in a park and at a college north of downtown. A man allegedly groped a woman inside a bathroom at San Pedro Park and a few minutes later, a San Antonio College student reported being followed by a man matching the same description.
Investigators say Monday morning at about 9 a.m., a man approached a 30-year-old woman and asked if she had a boyfriend. When she rejected his advances, he followed her into the ladies' bathroom, put his hand over her mouth and groped her. She began screaming and he ran off.
A few minutes later, police say a SAC student reported being followed into the Chance Academic Center by a man matching the same description. Once she entered a classroom and spoke to her professor, he left.
Police say the man is thin with a teardrop tattoo under his left eye. A police report also says that he is bald. SAC is warning students to use the buddy system and report any suspicious activity.
