SAN ANTONIO - A shooting on the East Side last week at a used car dealership left two people dead and one other injured. Now police are working with authorities in Louisiana after tracking the getaway car there.
Doran James Walker, 27, was arrested in Louisiana on Sunday on a traffic violation.
Witnesses saw Walker's green Honda leaving the scene after the shooting. Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies said once in custody, he confessed to killing 21-year-old Larry Williams and 27-year-old Stephen McGowan -- and injuring a third man.
"He indicated that he was alone in the shooting. His brother was there, but his brother had no involvement other than being at the location at the time,” explained Lt. Martin Molina with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
His brother, 22-year-old Donderick Walker, is still in on the loose.
Meantime, a search warrant was executed at a home on the East Side Monday morning where the brothers were believed to have been living.
