SAN ANTONIO -- A local man is behind bars, charged with breaking into his girlfriend's apartment and then beating her.
Police say 31-year-old Shawn Sanders kicked-in the door at his girlfriend's apartment back in mid-April. Sanders then allegedly pointed a gun at his girlfriend, asking if she had called police. The girlfriend told police Sanders hit her three times with his hand, causing her to hit a wall.
