SAN ANTONIO- A man is recovering at the hospital after shooting himself in the foot Wednesday evening.
Police were called out to the intersection of Elsmere Place and Beal streets on the West Side just before midnight. Police say a 24-year-old man was riding in the back of a car and playing with a loaded gun when he reportedly shot himself in his left foot. The man originally told police he was shot by someone else because he was embarrassed.
He is expected to be all right.
