San Antonio Police say a man confessed overnight to killing a woman who was set to testify in the high profile Taco Land murder case.

Officers picked up Kethan Beschorner, 29, on unrelated warrants and brought him in for questioning. According to police, Beschorner told them he slit Michelle Lague's throat at her home off Russell Street on July 4th.

Officers say Beschorner told them he was smoking marijuana and drinking with Lague that night. He claimed he was a devil worshipper who had trouble with demons, police say. Beschorner told police he blacked out right before Lague was killed.

Lague, 44, was found dead days later, inside her home.

Police say back in 2005, Lague witnessed a car speeding away from Taco Land, right after several people were killed. She was expected to testify in the case, but she was not a critical witness.

According to officers, Beschorner and Lague used to be roommates and Beschorner was very emotional during his confession.

Police do not believe the Taco Land case was a factor in Lague's death.

Beschorner now faces murder charges.
