Football......agree with you. The other thing that needs to be done is periodic drug screening. Dirty test, no benefits. No exceptions.

One of the major problems with the "let's take care of our own first" argument is this. There are roughly 5 million people on welfare today...half, if not more, are people habitually abusing the system. Our welfare system is being decimated by illegal aliens, lazy scum sucking people who would rather live off the government than work, thieves who fraud the system. What we need is more efficient oversight so that the people who really need the help can use it to get back on their feet…not to live off of for years and years. Another thing is sank whores having 5 kids with 5 different losers and vice versa deadbeat losers fathering multiple kids with multiple sank whores. It pisses me off that we the hardworking taxpaying people are supporting these people.

Agree with Sandymike 100%. I find it difficult to pity an able bodied man not being able to find some type employment to keep him off the street.

there are jobs out there for the taking. problem is they may not be perfect and so people woould rather rely on hand-outs. perfect example stevens transport (dallas,tx) will train anyone (as long as your not a convicted felon) to drive a truck (while getting paid) as long as you sign a contract saying you will stay with them for 12 months. the begining pay for a trainee is 40k. 6months 52k and up from there. for a jobless person this takes care of several things. 1st you have a place to live--your truck many truck drivers do, 2nd you learn an in demand skill- with two years experience there all a slew of local companies that will hire you and you can run local without having to gone over-the-road. mission transport starting pay about 65k coastal transport, about the same pay these are only a couple. there are anywhere from 10 to 50 on craigslist every day. while this may not be the ideal job for a lot of people it pays the bills. (i once buffed floors for heb at night while between jobs. hated every minute of it but i was able to pay my bills. there are other companies out there that also train drivers like stevens does. one just has to get off the ole butt and go look. there are hundreds of oppertunities out there, but most in todays world find easier to live off of the system

You would think so huh, but sadly thats not the case. We care MORE about other people/countries than we do about our own people. It should make you feel sick, it does to me. F everyone else we NEED to take care of our own before we help anyone else.

With all the money our nation sends overseas to help the poor, the homeless and sick, you'd think we'd be able to take care of our own before sending what's needed right here at home overseas.....
