Local teenager named to National Youth Orchestra

SAN ANTONIO -  Local violinist Eric Bowser has been selected to be part of the first National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America this summer.

This honor comes from Carnegie Hall and its Weill Music Institute. The 18-year-old will join other young musicians for a tour with renowned violinist Joshua Bell and will perform in Washington, D.C., Moscow, and London.

Bowser is currently a member of the Symphony of the Hills.
