SAN ANTONIO -- A local group is making a difference in our community with one pair of shoes at a time.
"A Walk in My Shoes" delivered 500 pairs of shoes to Haven for Hope Friday for San Antonians who need a little help this holiday season.
University of Incarnate Word football player Eric Castillo started the organization just six months ago to help people get back on their feet.
UIW football players and U.S. Air Force members helped with the drop off.
In December, the organization will be heading to New York to deliver 500 pairs of shoes to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.
