SAN ANTONIO -- A local group wants to make sure our wounded heroes don't become isolated when they return from war.

Warriors Roadtrip Network strives to keep our servicemen and women busy when they come home. As a fundraiser, they hosted a Super Bowl party at the Long Bar outside Loop 1604 on the Far North Side.  Many wounded heroes came out to enjoy the game, and a raffle and a silent auction was held. The money raised will help pay for a hunting trip at Bensen Farm and Ranch and help fund a fishing trip in a few weeks.

"It feels good that there's actually people out there that will do stuff for us,"  said soldier Damian Taylor.

The group is new to San Antonio. So if you would like to help them with donations, you can call 830-515-9191 or CLICK HERE.
