SAN ANTONIO -- St. Patrick's Day is Sunday and to celebrate The Animal Defense League and San Antonio Pets Alive! both are helping you save some green.
This weekend The Animal Defense League is holding a name your own price pet adoption event.
The special applies to dogs over a year old and cats four months or older.
The minimum adoption fee is $25 for dogs and $15 for cats.
All ADL cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

San Antonio Pets Alive! is also having a St. "Paw" Tricks Day adoption event. Wear green and get a lucky price of $25 for all onsite dogs over 6 months old.
The St. "Paw" adoption event runs until 5 p.m. today and Sunday, noon- 4 p.m., at the SAPA!'s building 1 located at Animal Care Services, 4710 Highway 151.
