SAN ANTONIO - Some tense moments on the South Side when a man found a live grenade at a home Saturday afternoon.

Police say the man was cleaning the home of a deceased relative when he found the grenade. Family members told police they knew the man owned a live grenade, but didn't know where he kept it.

The bomb squad arrived at the home on West Mayfield and safely destroyed the grenade.

No one was hurt and there was no damage to the home.
