SAN ANTONIO - A landlord unhappy over unpaid rent literally took matters into his own hands.
Ron Kronenberger, of Waynesville, Ohio, spanked the delinquent renter with a belt.
Kronenberger is a former chamber of commerce president and citizen of the year in Waynesville.
He was angry that the 29-year-old man owed him $2,800 in unpaid rent so he spanked the man telling him "If you're going to act like a child, I'm going to treat you like one".
Kronenberger hit the man four times with a belt on the man's bare bottom.
The tenant later said he just wanted to get it over with.
Kronenberger is charged with assault.
