SAN ANTONIO - A restaurant north of Downtown was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.
The robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at the La Fonda restaurant on Main and Woodlawn, north of Downtown. According to police, employees were attempting to close for the night when a man wearing dark clothes walked in carrying a handgun. The robber took off with an undisclosed amount of money from the safe.
The man took off on foot, and police are still searching for him.
