SAN ANTONIO -- Firefighters had to get past burglar bars to fight a fire at a West Side home Thursday morning.
A neighbor called fire crews to a house in the 800 block of Delgado around 10:20 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived, flames were seen coming out of the side of the home. Firefighters said the fire started in the kitchen and traveled to the attic.
Damage estimates were set at $25,000.
No one was at home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
