KERRVILLE, Texas -- A 13-year-old boy has been removed from Hal Peterson Middle School after investigators in Kerrville say he threatened two younger students on a school bus with the blade of a multi-tool-type knife.

This is the latest in a recent string of school bus assaults in Kerrville ISD. News 4 WOAI was first to uncover an alleged sexual assault involving students from Starkey Elementary School. In that case, police say an 11-year-old girl told her parents a couple of boys held her down and touched her inappropriately.

Then another girl from Hal Peterson Middle School claims she was hit in the face with a belt.

A spokeswoman from Kerrville ISD says these are isolated incidents, and says the district is constantly reviewing school bus safety and procedures with its drivers. Still, some surprised parents are telling News 4 WOAI they feel more needs to be done.

Most school districts have their own police dept who should be taking care of this. I wonder what the bus driver was doing when all of this went down? From now on the delinquents should have to walk home.
