CONVERSE, Texas -- An assistant principal has been placed on administrative leave after she allegedly slapped a 7-year-old student in the face.
Judson Independent School District said Friday the Judson Secondary Alternative School (JSAS) assistant principal told them she was attempting to control the student, and the student was trying to get away from her.
The assistant principal was a teacher at an elementary school for several years and was assigned to JSAS about two or three months ago.
The assistant principal will remain on leave pending the outcome of an investigation.
