SAN ANTONIO -- A man is recovering after he was hit by a truck on the Northeast Side Thursday.
Police say the man was jaywalking on Austin Highway, near Eisenhauer, around 8:30 p.m., when he was struck. Officers say the driver didn't see him.
The victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) with a head injury and broken bones.
