SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Fire Chief Charles Hood said in a press conference Tuesday afternoon there is still no cause to Monday's fire at the Wood Hollow apartments.

Hood described the extensive damage, "It looks like a bomb went off inside the apartments. You can see the sunlight from inside."

At least 80 people living in 33 units were affected by the fire and at least 40 of those are school children.

The Red Cross has been working to help all the families.

Chief Hood says more than 130 firefighters were fighting Monday's powerful winds during the fire and compared it to fighting a blow torch.  He says the department feels very fortunate that no lives were lost.

Hood stated, "If this fire would have started at midnight, there probably would have been lives lost."

Out of the 33 units, only one family had renters insurance.
