NATALIA, Texas – A grim search continues for a second day near this community off FM 471 and FM 463 in Medina County. That's about 30 miles southwest of San Antonio.

Sheriff’s investigators, FBI agents, and Texas Rangers are scouring the grounds near a home looking for the remains of two people. The two, reportedly a man and woman, have been missing since April of 1994.

Law enforcement officials went to the site after they said they received a tip about the possible location of the two bodies.

Neighbors told News 4 WOAI it’s all happening around the home of a Manuel Rodriguez. After searching news archives, News 4 WOAI found a story about a "Manuel Rodriquez" also known as "Raymond Morales," who was reported missing in April 1994 along with his 29-year-old girlfriend Andrea Truax. But officials at the scene would not confirm if those are the people they are looking for.

Medina County Sheriff Randy Brown says his investigators could be out at the scene for days looking for evidence. In addition to digging, deputies are searching for clues in and around the structures and cars on the property .

Right now, News 4 WOAI is at the scene, continuing to monitor the situation. We’ll update as more information is released.
