SAN ANTONIO -- Arson investigators have determined a fire at an apartment complex north of Downtown was intentionally set.
When firefighters arrived at the complex in the 1200 block of East Mulberry around 7:00 p.m. Monday, flames were coming from the first and second floors of the fourplex and were starting to shoot through the roof.
The complex, which was vacant and due for demolition, was surrounded by fencing and was supposed to have on-site security. Although there was no electricity or gas run to the structure, the complex did have a history of squatters.
