fantastic. now when health care reform passes we will have more unemployed insurance brokers. and since the bill seeks to delay FDA approval of emerging technologies and medicines, you might as well put Medtronic on that list too.

It's way past time SA and Bexar County imposed an impact tax on developers and new companies for the growth they cause in roads, EMS, fire, etc., instead of turning to taxpayers and asking, "How are You going to pay for this growth?"

Mayhem, if we followed your short-sighted thinking, SA would remain a backwater town. We certainly need to contain our growth, but we don't want to stifle it. Draven, financial companies use credit ratings to weed out people with financial troubles who might try to steal from the company to fix those troubles. Bad credit is not always a sign of dishonesty, but when it's your company you're trying to protect, then maybe you'll understand.

The jobs will be filled by having the phone administrators route the calls to a hunt group in India where the "high paying jobs" will be awarded. pbwalker - you are 150% correct, talent might not be the correct word to use... pretty damn sad... Love SA!

Good luck to people trying to get a job with them. They are even stricter than the banks when it comes to credit checks. They offered me a job that only paid about $13 an hour and sent me health insurance forms and had me put in my 2 weeks then recinded the offer cause I have less than perfect credit and they kindly sent me copy of my credit report. Sadly, my credit isn't that bad. I can only imagine what the credit situation is like now... so how will they fill those jobs?

pbwalker - 10/29/2009 4:04 PM
fjm - that's about how much our 'talent' is worth here in SAT

fjm1061 - 10/29/2009 3:57 PM
Mind you they call 8.50/hr a high paying job around here...
