BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS -- It's only a sticker, but it has put some polling places in a sticky situation.

During the first 2 hours of voting Tuesday, the Bexar County Elections Department was flooded with calls from voters upset about not getting an "I Voted" sticker.

So, what's the big deal?

Some voters claimed they needed the sticker in order to take advantage of the promotions offered by several companies. Places like Starbucks, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Ben & Jerry's, and Chick-fil-A are all offering free items to celebrate Tuesday's election. Other voters said they simply wanted to show everyone they voted.

According to Bexar County Elections Department officials, the stickers were given out only during early voting as a way to get others to vote early. No stickers will be given out on Election Day.
