Hundreds show up to help fight childhood cancer

SAN ANTONIO -- More than 100 people showed up Saturday morning to shave their heads to show support for local children that have diagnosed with cancer.

The event that benefited the St. Baldrick’s Foundation took place at World of Beer on Stone Oak Parkway.

The foundation is a volunteer-driven charity dedicated to raising money for life-saving childhood cancer research, according to the foundation's website.

The foundation here in San Antonio already has raised more than $40,000.
