SAN ANTONIO -- A car crashed into a West Side home.

A woman was driving near the intersection of NW 26th Street and West Martin Street shortly before 8:00 a.m. Friday when she apparently lost control of her car and it crashed into a house at the corner of West Martin. The woman was taken to a hospital.

The homeowner said he was sitting on his couch when the car came crashing into his living room. He was hit but was not seriously injured.

You people that comment on the condition of his house should be ashamed of yourself... Who Knows that guys story... He might work two jobs and just to make ends and doesn't have the money to fix the house... or maybe he might have an health Issue that he couldn't fix up the place.... I wouldn't be saying crap when you don't know his story.... Just not right.... He refused medical help because it will cost him more money that he doesn't have... My heart goes out to the family and happy that no one got hurt....

Sorry to say his house and yard look terrible and not sure if the car crash had much to do with it.

The homeowner can now hang another matching blue tarp over the hole and no one will notice.

Another fine driver with no insurance and a suspended license. Poor homeowner will never recover the loss, and driver walks away.

Pretty sure the house looked like that before the crash. No loss here.
