Homeowner shoots and kills one intruder, seriously injures another

@ravenjosa: You went to school with one of them? What school is that exactly? Your grammar, spelling and writing is beyond terrible. Ah the toilet bowl known as San Antonio. Do the police do anything in this town other than give speeding tickets? Crime in SA is clearly out of control. Time for a new Chief of Police, Mayor and DA.

FYI folks, the victim that shot the two POS trash idiots and killed one had his home targeted in a drive-by shooting. This trash do not realize that they were in the wrong for breaking into a home and yet have their stupid friends continue to shoot at an innocent victim. Listen you all stupid pende..your buddies messed up and deserved what they got. Don't go taking your anger on an innocent person that defended himself after your trash friends broke into his home. Bunch of COWARDS! @ravenhosa, maybe since your so concerned about the idiots that got shot, maybe you know who did the drive-by? @Veritas and AntiViolence, do you still think we need to get the "punitive approach" removed and use a more "civilized" way of dealing with idiots like this? According your BS stats, other methods seem to work better than the punishment given in our current justice system.

Nicely done sir, hope you recover fully and quickly from the injuries you sustained from these dirtbags, you made the streets safer by your actions.Hopefully the court system will take the appropriate action and lock up No.2 dirtbag for a long time.

ravenjosa you obviously live in a fantasy land. I personally feels no sympathy for the deceased. He made a bad decision and paid the ultimate price with his life. I do feel sympathy for his family members since they will have to go to the morgue and be present when the drawer is pulled out and the remains are veiwed in order to positively identify the deceased. Based on the amount of blood spilled it is not going to be a pretty sight. This young man had ample opportunities to effect positive change in his life and failed to do so. He has noone to blame but himself. This young man was also a person of interest in a number of other violent crimes in the close proximity of this incident. I have no doubt in my mind that San Antonio is a safer city now that he is deceased. My sympathies are all for the young man who was the true victim in this case, the homeowner and his family. Here is a young man who is working and still going to school to better himself, minding his own business, not bothering anybody, trying to sleep, and is assaulted in his own home by predatory thugs in the dead of night. Now his life will be put on hold as he goes through rehabilitation to recover from his injuries, both mental as well as physical. Andrew, the City of San Antonio owes you a debt that can never be repaid by monies. You Sir, have made the streets of San Antonio a little safer for all to enjoy. And I wish you a heartfelt speedy recovery.

@Taurus, you sir are correct. A colleague of mines house was just broken into on Monday morning and it so happens that he owns semi automatic weapons and one of them was stolen. I don't doubt it was the same two scumbags. @raven, had those two low life idiots not have been in the habit of burglarizing homes, one of them would still be alive and the other one wouldn't have a hole in his torso.

The "yay happy" that you mention is that for once, someone paid the ultimate price for being stupid when, most cowards end up getting away with what so many work hard to earn. ok so all of yall are sitting here congratulating a fmaily on losign someone they love, will actually both families now since both have died. i go to the school one of them went to and though it was wrong to brake into the house soemone died that is no happy ending, all y'all are doing is encouraging killing, your just as bad as the kids themselfs, dont get me wrong i believe in protecting yourself but is it truly neccisary to sit here and be all yay happy ending?
