If they safely detonated all the "bombs" in the back yard, I'm thinking them bombs were probably like fire crackers wrapped in duct tape. I bet they detonated them bombs in the opening of a fire ant nest; that is sort of what we used to do back in the day when red ants were a problem. Now that it is the future, the red ants are gone and they have been replaced by communist fire ants from South America, who communicate via short waves with the killer bees. This means that the officers on the bomb squad need to be replaced by younger men who are familiar with the current tactics of insects.

Saw this dude's picture on a different local news site yesterday, along with quotes from his neighbors about how shocked they were and how great a guy he is. UmmHmm, yea right!
