WoW, sad to see some of the comments.I have heard of this pastor, who,, IS a pastor with the united methodist church. she has chosen to spend this time with the homeless, to minister to them and develop a better understanding of them, which is alot more than some of the commenters seem to know. yes i agree some of the homelessand parasitic, or lawless, BUT most are just down on their luck. lose your job for a month ( or 6) and go upsidedown on your morgage and see where you end up.as for all the services suggested by the posters,, no way they can cover the need out there. this country is in trouble in a big way , and pushing the homeless out of sight isnt going to help. try to think of what it is like not to have a place to go at night,, try living in your car for the weekend in the summer heat,, oh and you don't have money to buy gas...so you are locked up into a 3 block area running for the patrols so you dont get a ticket, which you can't pay.. bingo ,, three hots and a cot for you soon enough.. work on pastor,, we hear ya...

These comments are priceless!!! Hahaha! I'm soooo glad I got away from religion and the ridiculous, petty (not to mention "sinful") bickering about who's the better christian, what branch will get "priority standing" at the pearly gates (Church of Christ seems to think they are the superior flavor)...etc. Then again, if I wrote a book that promised people would have to spend eternity in Los Angeles for not abiding by my teachings, I'd have a lot of suckers following me right now too. That would be worse than hell.

Lock her up and she won't be homeless will she? 3 meals/day, bed, shower, orange scrubs, and lots of people willing to listen to her sermons.

Lervia, Now that you bring it to my attention, I do remember a comment I made to Back2 about his constant ranting; suggesting he take a break and you jumped in with your 2cents worth. Everyone's entittled to his or her opinion. Who would have reported that comment is beyond me, other than Back2, who claims he doesn't do such juvenile crap, but.... As for MCR being Twister, I'm not a regular enough follower of the goings on on this forum to have an opinion. I actually did think Carmen split him/herself off. Whoever they are, they seem to have taken egomanic lessons from someone we both know. Chill out, drink a brew or two. (It'll tick Dodie off, so in addition to mellowing you out,it'll stick it to her. Maybe that's the old girl's problem.)

@DisembodiedSpi: I can't seem to find the comment I was referring to in your history, but I remember it well because it totally shocked and surprised me. I guess is was reported & deleted, but not by me. Had to do with black helicopters, UN Agenda 21, and another item that I can't remember the "numbers" to, but it had to do with internment camps. Anyway, in case you haven't figured it out, twister2 moonlights as MCR. MCR came on the scene as a Carmen copycat a few days before Carmen had her miraculous awakening and became literate. I'm gone. The stupid mouse is still screwed up and giving me fits. Can't deal with it!!!!

@DisembodiedSpi: I did have a comment I wanted to make to you regarding MCR, but since you think I'm a whacked out moron, I'll refrain from explaining a bit of truth to you. Your loss.

Has anyone noticed that Carmen has farmed her nutball comments out to MCR? Lately, she's taken up the guise of a holy roller. Carmen, did Jesus have a flock, a church? How incredibly arrogant of you to suggest that only "real" pastors reside north of 1604. Carmen, you apparently think of yourself as a good Christian. I have my doubts that you are good or a Christian. Lioness 74, very good comments. Thank-you for posting them.

and I have been homeless, but I did still have a car that barely worked that I slept out of. I have found that a lot of homeless (who aren't mentally ill) choose to live that way, and many of them are actually fugitives of the law for one reason or another, including some serious offenses like not wanting to Register as a Sex Offender, I even met one guy who told me he was wanted for murder in New York, that is just sick.
