I am writing for a neighbor. I feel helpless in this time of Christmas because he and his family were(I assure evicted) from there home and have had their belongings in the yard for the past three days. As many of us put up our lights and come in and out of our homes with gifts, he and his wife have had a Uhaul outside their home and the rest of their family furniture just out on the lawn. They have 4 children and during this time when families come together, they load up their belongings at night. This has gone on for 2days and today it rained. I feel awful for them. They are very quiet and keep to themselves, however I am aware that they have no family in San Antonio. My family and I have extended our home and assistance with their move, but they are most embarrassed and declined. It has been mentioned in passing previously that his wife is very ill and with the kids in school right now, I was hoping someone could give me some direction to assist at least the kids with a good Christmas. If you know of an organization or community church that helps with situations like these, please let me know. I am a single mother of three and work for a non-profit organization. I work with special needs, but do not have any contacts for situations like these. I ask for a Christmas wish not for me, but for my neighbors, whom I don't even know very well, but am trying to seek help for at least the children. kmartinez3134@yahoo.com

He was working for a this man who had jobs for a painter position but still hasnt payed him. As of right now we might now have a thanksgiving dinner but we are thankful for being together and healthy. But for christmas we will be unable to get anything for them. We currently had to move out of our house and move in with my mother in law who is also struggling but is willing to open her doors for us. Hello I’m writing to let you know that I am in need of some assistance. My family of four has been struggling this year for a long time. I’ve tried to keep it together, but unfortunately I am out of options. My kids are not getting anything for Christmas. We have had our lights shut off due to non payment. I wrote a bad check to try and pay for it, but it was denied and going to be shut off again tomorrow. My wife just started her new job and is not getting any pay until the 31st of December. It is cold and we need heat. My kids are 9 and 11 and have no food, christamas tree or toys for this year. I've tried the food banks and asked for family support. My family unfortunately can not help me at this time. I’m begging for someone to please help us. I am currently unemployed and cannot get unemployment benefits. I need help with my utility bill from cps of 700 dollars plus. My rent is 4 months behind. We are 1000 dollars in debit on rent and on the verge of being evicted for non payment. I also need help with food and any extra cash to get through until we can start catching up. I’m begging for help before we go homeless. I saw your add when I was looking up assistance help in san Antonio online. I appreciate it if there is anything you can do. I know its close to Christmas and a little late, but I just pray that someone can come to our aid. Thanks for your time and patience in regarding this letter. If there is anything you can do to help us out please contact me back at 210-401-2122. Please Help!!! If you cannot I understand. Thanks once again. You can also contact me by e-mail at john_brower@live.com .

Active Duty Wounded Warrior family of eight (5 children) & (a grandbaby) would appreciate any help in making our children's holiday's a blessing. Contact # 210 724-2211. Our families number one request is for my husband and the children's father & grandfather to get well as he is recovering from his injury and illnesses associated to his brain which affects his hearing and sight. We appreciate your prayers and support in these trying times. We have been concentrating upon my husband's recovery so much that we haven't had a chance to buy a Christmas Tree or gifts for our children and grandbaby. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Home: San Antonio, TX. stationed at Fort Sam Houston, belong Wounded Warrior BN.

If you would like to help with burial expenses a Memorial Funds account has been opened for Fernando Garcia at First Mark Credit Union. Fernando Garcia was a student at Harlandale High School. A burial plot has been donated but there are still funeral expenses.

I know a family who is not even thinking of presents or Christmas, they would just like to have enough to bury their 15 year old son who passed away December 2, of Muscular dystrophy complications. He was a student at Harlandale and a Cowboy fan. The family also had a gas leak in their home and they have been using electric heaters and cooking on a electric ring. Presents and holiday cheer is the farthest thing on their minds.

My family is one that needs adopting. We currently have a negative balance and no presents. I would love to be in a position to help, but unfortunately we ARE the needy this year. Thanks for all you do for the community. I love San Antonio Living.
