Since when are hispanics not considered "white"? Here's a suggestion to the "language barrier" issue...LEARN TO SPEAK, READ AND WRITE ENGLISH! I am so tired of a single "minority" being coddled in this country. When students who grow up speaking German or Vietnamese in their homes start school, they learn English very quickly. English as a Second Language (ESL) is one of the most grievous DISservices done to Hispanics since Mexico established the peon system. Abolish all ESL classes from public school, abolish all printing of any language other than English by our government, and look at how much we could save in the budget, AND the improved communication that part of our population would have. I guarantee that learning English would also improve the financial situation of these women. "Studies" like this make me wild. How totally stupid.
