SAN ANTONIO -- Hundreds of people on the West Side were without power Monday morning due to high winds.

At one point, more than 4,400 customers were in the dark. The two biggest outages were near Loop 1604 and Potranco Road and near Grissom and Culebra.

CPS Energy officials said they did not know if any transformers were knocked out, but crews had power restored for most customers as of 8:00 a.m.
