Look, first of all there's something that everyone here needs to know.NEISD does not like bad press,so they will anything to make this go away.Well, almost anything, They will not fire him. You see,as a current employee for 8 years now I know that someone that high up the food chain will only be moved to another department or get a promotion, or they will let him retire with full benefits. If he was...lets say a shop tech, or foreman, they would definitely prosecute him and destroy his chances of ever landing a decent job.If all of you knew all of the things that we as employees know or hear around the office, troubleshooters would have a field day. There are so many ethics violations or things that can be interpreted as an ethics violation. These principals and ap's and some teachers walk around campus preaching the "code of conduct, ethics, or whatever, but they don't practice what they preach.

I do not know Chris Thompsom, but he obviously has a problem with integrity. If he was doing nothing wrong, how do you explain "borrowing" fixtures to have at your personal residence. He should have paid for the items if they were scrap/trash. A thief is a thief in my book. If I took/borrowed/stole materials home from work, I would be prosecuted and fired, not reassigned. I pay taxes in the NEISD district, and am not at all happy with this outcome.

Unbelievable, yet believable that posters will write (poorly) about rumors and innuendo. One look at the posters use of grammar depicts someone who took little advantage of the free education he was given. Obviously if there were something to indict the principal on, it would have happened by now. The poster is obviously about vengeance, hence the handle. Too bad that someone who -never had a problem- would be such a gossip. As we all know, innocent until PROVEN guilty. The press is laughable, as well as the gullible consumers.

Mr Thompson lol. I had him as my principal in thelate 90s. He was always out for himself and the teachers hated him because of rumors of sexual harassment of a substitute teacher. He was demeaning to the janitors and lunch staff. I knew girls that said he would flirt with them and tell them how pretty they were. He once got in a kids face for caling him stupid and screamed at him so loud daring the kid to hit him he turnd red and spit was conming out of his mouth with everyother word. Lol..so to the guy that left a comment about how he shaped your life : thats halarious .I never had a problem with him but the whispers were always there. Can't believe hes now labeled a thief of tax payer propety. Good one chris!! I hope u get indicted by the DA for stealing from the taxpayers!!!!!!!!

I hear you Rebecca. I remember Mr. Thompson from Madison when I was student back in the early 90's. I know that he had an impact on who I am and so many kids over the years. I can say this without any doubt because I am now a school administrator. I pray that Mr. Thompson can rest assured that he made an impact when and where it mattered most...in the hearts and minds of students and the community. I would be willing to bet that it is for this reason that he chose a silent exit. He knew that resistance against media propaganda interests was futile and that it would only take attention away from what matters most...the success of our youth. To Mr. Thompson it was never about him. His image existed only to promote the success of others. He is a truly humble man in an ignorant selfish time. Congratulations Mr. Collister! May the demons in your closet one day over shadow your achievements. In my humble opinion (that carries no value with you or your fans) they already have.

People the problem with his actions is this: You cannot take any property that a contractor uses in building schools, even if the contractor says its ok. It can be interpreted as an accepting of gifts.

He only took if for himself after retiling the weight room and teacher lounge with the left over tile. The tile company had installed the wrong tile and did not take this old tile back because there were many custom cut tiles for the school. The district was told to dispose of the left over tile. I don't see any problem with taking something that was going to be trash anyway. At least the weight room and teacher lounge got a makeover. I don't know about the patio shade though.

Thompson has a history of picking and choosing policies to follow and or enforce. If it had been a student or custodian they would have been in alternative school or jail. He would not have shown mercy to a kid! I hope they turn it over to the DA
