HELOTES, Texas -- If you are looking for a great small town to raise your kids, you don't have to look far.
Bloomberg magazine named Helotes the "Best small town in Texas to raise your kids." The magazine cited the high income level in Helotes, which has a median household income of $109,000, as well as it's amenities like parks and libraries, it's relatively low commute time, and the fact that Helotes is a new community.
Even though Helotes continues to grow, it still maintains that small town feel.
