OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Harold's Stores and several of its related companies have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The clothing store was founded in Norman, Oklahoma in 1948, but is now based in Dallas. It filed bankruptcy papers Friday in Oklahoma City.
The company estimated assets and liabilities between $10 million and $50 million in the filings.
Harold's has stores in 19 states, mostly in the South, West and Midwest.
According to its Web site, the only San Antonio-area store is in the Alamo Quarry Market on E. Basse Rd.
