SAN ANTONIO -- Grieving parents of a teen killed by a suspected drunk driver are demanding justice. 16-year-old Josh Tegel was hit by a car Nov. 17 on Gibbs-Sprawl Road on the northeast side. However, the accused driver is charged with driving while intoxicated for the accident.

An accident report says 39-year-old Royce Alvin Willis drove off the road to let two vehicles pass him at about 10 p.m. that evening.  When he drove back onto the road, Tegel was in his path and he was unable to brake and hit him, the report states.  Josh's parents are demanding justice, saying they believe he should do jail time.

"Do you know how hard it's been? I lost my son, my baby!" Sally Tegel cried.

News 4 WOAI checked with the San Antonio Police Department to see if the charge against Willis would be upgraded. Police said officers are still investigating and the case remains open.

don't let your kids walk the streets that late at night because stuff like this happens all the time.. its hard to see people when they are all dressed in dark clothes trying to sneak around at night.. the teen is partly to blame as well..

What is wrong with the Police Department? Where are the punishments? A drive-by that kills a man and shoots a 6 month old gets aggravated assault? A driver that kills a biker gets nothing? This guy only gets DWI? Apparently you can get away with anything here.
