WATERLOO, Illinois (CNN) -- A golfer who fell into a sinkhole is now talking about those terrifying moments.
"It was just darkness down there," said Mark Mihal. "So, I was like 'Someone get me out of here now.'"
Mihal was with friends at a course in Illinois on Friday, when a sinkhole opened beneath him. He fell 15 feet and landed on mud. He was eventually pulled to safety with a rope and taken to a hospital to treat his dislocated shoulder.
Mihal says he'll play golf again, but he doesn't know if he'll return to that course.
