Did you know, the pre –k tax increase is going to fund private charter schools, similar to the model of George Gervin’s first charter school, and one hundred students will be selected from a “pool” of students. Sounds like they are looking out for the grandchildren without paying the expense like the rest of you that pay for private schools. Just think of the money most of you would save if you did not have to pay for a private school for your child besides one day your child will be pitted up against one of those guys if our community continues to be neglected.

Y'all do know that Dodie Lee and Carmen are a person sitting at their job bored off their asses trying to get a rise out of all yall, right? OK just checkin'. Don't get too hung up on their banter. Dodie and Carmen are very fond of using the Doubting Thomas incident to extol the virtues of faith. On the other hand, even at a most uncritical reading of the text, it demonstrates the opposite: faith is inadequate, and evidence is required. But then, if you take even the smallest step back, the whole thing practically explodes. I mean, think about it: we’re trying to have a serious discussion. And now things really get out of hand. Christians can’t let go of the story, because it’s the foundation of their faith. But that means that they really have to believe that Jesus was wandering around Jerusalem for a month and a half with a gaping chest wound and holes in his hands and feet — and that he was doing this horror show after the townspeople had tried to kill him for some pretty trivial offenses. And there’s just no way that any sane and rational adult can keep of thinking of any of that as something that really happened.

Classy. Oh and while Carmen and Dodie are two different individuals this planet has been "blessed" with, they are both heavy cracksmokers, as evidenced by their whacked out insane posts. : )

Carmen and Dodie are not the same person. Dodie appears to be a white man in his seventies as judged by his vocabulary, possibly with some experience in technology, and Carmen has been confirmed to be a suppository of the Catholic church, possibly transcribed by attendants to which they perform duties before the one in the hall of transformation. Anyone transfixed by their comments understands the necessity of it all.
