SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio police busted a gambling operation that was running inside a woman's home on the east side Wednesday morning.
Officers at the scene said they handed out multiple citations.
Investigators said the incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near I-35 and Rittiman.
Police said they were working off a tip, and broke up a party going on inside.
Five people were given citations for gambling.
Officers said the woman accused of running the operation received 54 citations. Officers said no one was taken into custody, but they did confiscate some of the gambling accessories.
