SAN ANTONIO -- A collision involving a dump truck, an 18-wheeler, and a pickup truck caused a fuel spill on the West Side Friday morning.

The accident happened around 10:45 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Interstate 10 and Culebra Road. News 4 WOAI was told a dump truck pulling a trailer was exiting Interstate 10 at Culebra. The driver of the dump truck said he could not stop and hit the pickup truck and an 18-wheeler that were stopped at the traffic light.

The fuel tank of one of the trucks that was hit ruptured, sending about 20 gallons of diesel fuel spilling onto the road. A second accident happened when another vehicle drove through the fuel and then slid into another vehicle down the street.

The driver of the pickup truck reported having neck pain. No other injuries were reported.

Yeap, it is hard to stop even on a dry roadway when you are exceeding the posted speed limit. Wake up , next time you will kill someone.
