SAN ANTONIO -      Elementary students who attend Seguin ISD schools in Guadalupe County are all guaranteed free breakfasts when the new school year begins.

Beginning August 28, the school district will begin phasing campuses each week until all elementary students get a morning meal.

The program is already in place at Patlan, Vogel and Ball elementary schools.

The district is also looking into extending the free breakfasts to middle and high schools.

The breakfasts will be paid for through federal funding and a small increase in the food service department's budget.

So did the taxpayers paying for this get to choose? Or did the school district just raise property taxes on their own? Do private schools get the same luxury to compete on a level playing field with big government education? Do U.S. citizens have to pay for illegal alien children to have breakest? That would be no, yes, no, and yes there Alex.

We are killing the USA with these entitlements. The more we give, the more they demand. Addiction to government handouts is really taking a toll on this country.
