Freak accident on east side

SAN ANTONIO-A bizarre accident on the east side where a woman loses control and crashes 20 feet down an embankment.

Police say the woman hit a guardrail then went airborne and crashed.

The accident happened on I-10 between Foster Road and Ackerman shortly before 5:00pm.

We are working to find out more about what caused the driver to lose control and what her condition is tonight.

Has anyone heard any update on her condition. My husband was at the scene and we'd like to know.

We saw the accident coming in from out of town...saw the truck being lifted from the ditch. it looked horrible! Hope this woman is okay!

I grew up in the northern part of the country, where there are extreme weather conditions (snow and ice) and never heard of half the stupid accidents that happen around this area.
