SAN ANTONIO - Four Northeast Side convenience stores were robbed within a two hour time span Thursday night.

The first store in the 5900 block of Rittiman was hit at 7:30 pm. The 52-year-old store manager is still on edge because her son was working the register when the brazen robber pointed a gun at him and demanded cash from the register, even though it was obvious the surveillance cameras were rolling.

"I worry about his life," he said. "If they take money, it's alright. But if they shoot, we lose our family."

Not even 15 minutes after the first robbery, a store was robbed in the 6100 block of Montgomery Drive.

Less than an hour later an armed robber walked into the a store in 13500 block of O'Connor.

Just before 10 pm a store was robbed in the 4400 block of Rittiman.

All of the clerks say the aggressive robber pointed a gun and demanded money. Several workers described the gunman wearing a bandana over his face. If you have any information on these robberies, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.

The whole Northeast side, especially off Rittiman, The Glen,Walzem Road, are Drug And Crime Infested. That is why the WALMART and the MALL CLOSED on Walzem Road! These people were stealing them blind!!! Has become a very low-class area. And all the Katrina victims used to sit on the curbs by the Mall, not even trying to find work! I Hope San Antonio Never again tries to help victims of disaster!!! They never left...AND...Never got jobs...Most all of them just took the handouts, and never did a damn thing to help THEMSELVES...an still don't..
