Forecast: Clouds Coming For Weekend

 

Friday will be another beautiful day but clouds and a chance of rain returns this weekend.  Clear skies tonight with patchy fog developing early Friday morning, mainly east of I-35.  Sunny Friday afternoon.  High 79.  Friday evening will be cool for football games as the temperatures drop into the low 60s by 10pm.  Patchy fog will be around Saturday morning.  Partly sunny Saturday with increasing clouds.  Mostly cloudy Sunday with a chance of showers and storms, especially east of San Antonio.  The clouds will increase because of a non-tropical area of clouds, rain and storms in the Gulf that will be pulled northward toward Louisiana and then east Monday-Tuesday as a trough moves across Texas.  A cold front will move through Tuesday to bring in slightly cooler air.  That trough and front will also help steer Ida toward the Florida Panhandle, Alabama and Mississippi instead of Texas.
