Forecast: Beautiful Work Week, Some Weekend Clouds

Storm Tracker 4 Meteorologists are tracking a few more beautiful days, some weekend changes, and the tropics.
 

The sunny days will continue through Friday but some clouds will return this weekend.  Cool nights and warm days will also continue but the low will slowly climb back up to near 60 by Sunday and Monday mornings.  Patchy fog will be around early Saturday morning then mostly sunny.  Increasing clouds Saturday night for a mostly cloudy Sunday.  These clouds are associated with a broad area of clouds, showers, and storms that is currently in the southern Gulf.  This will move north toward the Louisiana-Texas line this weekend and will increase our clouds.  A trough will swing through Sunday into Monday.  That will pick up the moisture and move it east.  For now there is a slight chance of rain those two days. 

Tropical Storm Ida formed today near Nicaragua.  It will continue to move northward toward the Yucatan early next week and then into the Gulf of Mexico.  Because of the trough moving east Sunday-Monday it will likely head toward the northern Gulf or northeastern Gulf mid next week.  Hurricane Season runs through November 30th.  This is the 9th named storm for this Atlantic Hurricane Season.
