What We're Tracking: Hot and humid weather through the weekend What's Happening: High pressure and it's clockwise circulation will slide just east of us through the end of the week allowing for higher humidity to roll in from the Gulf of Mexico. Combined with hot temperatures in the 90s it'll feel a bit uncomfortable for those who work outdoors or have outdoor activities planned. While there might be some spotty drizzle early in the morning the next few days, little overall day to day change in our weather pattern is expected through Memorial Day. Forecast: Tonight: Clear with increasing clouds. Low: 73 Wind: SSE 10-15+ Tomorrow: Cloudy, then becoming mostly sunny. High: 92 Wind: SSE 10-15+ Friday: Clouds, drizzle early. Then Mostly sunny. Low: 73 Wind: SSE 10-15+

What We're Tracking: Dry, stable air with no rain in sight What's Happening: An area of high pressure will expand from Mexico across South Texas to Tennessee the next several days. This will deflect any storm systems well to our north and push any tropical moisture over the Gulf well to our south. The result will be a partly to mostly sunny pattern through the holiday weekend and although humidity levels will inch up a bit the chance of any rain in this kind of a pattern is slim to none. Forecast: Tonight: Mostly clear, very mild. Low: 67 Wind: S 5-10 Tomorrow: Mostly sunny, hot. High: 90 Wind: S 5-15 Thursday: Partly to mostly sunny, humid. Low: 72 High: 90 Wind: S 10-15

High: 92 Wind: SW 5-10 Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Low: 67 High: 91 Wind: S 10-15 (+)

Well, some of my "zeriscape" plants have already been burned. So much for not watering.

What We're Tracking: Higher humidity this weekend What's Happening: The storm track will remain too far north of us to get us any rain for the next 5-7 days. It will become more humid however as the wind shifts into the southeast off the Gulf of Mexico this weekend. Forecast: Tonight: Increasing clouds, very mild. Low: 67 Wind: SSE 10 Tomorrow: Clouds and sun, warm & humid. High: 87 Wind: SSE 5-15 Sunday: Partly sunny, warm & humid. Low: 69 High: 87 Wind: SE 5-10

What We're Tracking: Drier air slowly filtering in What's Happening: The slow-moving storm that has produced over 5 inches of rain in some spots is slowly lumbering along and pushing farther east. It's now located near the Gulf coast but moving so slowly that it might still get us a couple of widely scattered late-day showers tomorrow. High pressure is expected to strengthen and expand across all of South Texas by Thursday lasting through the upcoming weekend resulting in an extended period of sunny, warm days with no significant rain in sight though at least the middle of next week. Forecast: Tonight: Cooler, slight chance of showers. Low: 60 Wind: NNE 5 Tomorrow: Sunny, then a slight chance of late-day showers. High: 82 Wind: NNW 5 Thursday: Clear and mild. Low: 62 High: 86 Wind: SSW 5
